[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We recently developed iPad\/computer assessment and training applications that are used to advance our understanding of basic attentional control mechanisms and to use as cognitive enhancement tools. We have shown the benefit of these cognitive training programs to improve attentional control functions (Lussier et al., 2012; 2016; 2017) and enhance balance and motor control (Li et al., 2010). Our tasks also helped to understand the neurological underpinning of executive control deficits in older adults (Lague-Beauvais et al., 2012). In the pandemic context, this platform is currently used with over 220 participants, demonstrating the feasibility of its use in a home-based setting.<\/p>\n
