 style=\"font-weight:normal;\">The\u00a0<strong>Cognitive Health and Aging Research Laboratory (LESCA) <\/strong> is made up of students and researchers who demonstrate an interest in factors that may modulate cognitive changes that are frequently observed in older adults.<\/p>\n<p>The research conducted at LESCA adopts a\u00a0<strong>multidisciplinary approach\u00a0<\/strong>to cognitive aging by examining the effects of lifestyle and stimulating cognitive activities on older adults&#8217; cognition, as well as the impact of physical health and nutrition on cognitive decline that can be related to normal aging.<\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner]<div class=\"ult-spacer spacer-69eb511e55426\" data-id=\"69eb511e55426\" data-height=\"75\" data-height-mobile=\"0\" with or at risk of cardiovascular disease;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and validate tools for the diagnosis and early detection of cognitive impairment;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and validate multidisciplinary preventive and curative approaches to prevent or delay cognitive decline (eg, self-management, physical exercise, cognitive stimulation, nutrition);<\/li>\n<li>Understand the effects of preventive interventions in order to develop personalized care programs to slow down or delay the development of cognitive disorders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ult-spacer
