COVID-Rehab: Effect of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in post-COVID-19 patients with persistent dyspnea and/or asthenia.
Target population: Individuals between 50 and 80 years of age with persistent shortness of breath and/or chronic fatigue following SARS-COV-02 (COVID-19) infection.
We invite you to participate in this clinical study to help scientists and physicians study the effects of a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program in people who have had COVID-19 and still have dyspnea (shortness of breath) and/or chronic fatigue several months after their infection.
The main objective of this research project is to study the impact of an 8-week cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program (3x per week) on physical capacity. We will also study the effects of the intervention on quality of life, cognition, respiratory efficiency, and blood markers related to inflammation and coagulation.
Duration: 2 months
